Empowering Women and Girls with Disabilities in Gboko: A Step towards Inclusion
Dooshai Youth Foundation. was invited to add up her voice at the workshop organised by D'brave Jennifer Goodwaters, a fellow of the Women of the South Speak Fellowship titled "Amplifying the voices of women and girls with disabilities".
Empowering the voices of women and girls with disabilities is crucial for promoting inclusion and equality. By providing a platform for them to share their experiences and concerns, we can better understand the challenges they face and work towards creating a more inclusive society.
The initiative emphasizes the importance of upholding the rights of women and girls with disabilities. This includes ensuring access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, as well as protecting them from violence and discrimination, advocate for policy changes and implementation that promote inclusion and equality and raise awareness about the rights and challenges faced by women and girls with disabilities
